WHEN YOU SUPPORT WAZE (GOOGLE) IN BUILDING THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY FROM THE GROUND UP
Between April 2021 and end of 2022, I’ve had the exciting opportunity to partner with WAZE to develop their social media strategy, which has evolved significantly over the months.
Engaging Activations
Our collaboration has been marked by several impactful activations, including a partnership with FIFA23 that allowed users to navigate with the voices of Omar da Fonseca and Benjamin Da Silva. This unique integration brought a fresh and engaging experience to the WAZE community.
Building Lasting Connections
We focused on timely and reactive communication around pop culture events to foster a durable relationship with WAZE users. Additionally, I provided strategic support for media campaigns, ensuring our messaging resonated effectively with the target audience. A major highlight was successfully growing our Twitter presence from 0 to 10k organic followers—kudos to Céline, our brilliant community manager behind both Twitter and Facebook! 🚀
Core Responsibilities
My key missions included launching strategies for Facebook and Twitter, defining the editorial line, offering strategic advice, and overseeing media campaigns. Each of these components played a crucial role in establishing WAZE's voice in the digital landscape.
